Jezebel (Jez·e·bel) n. : A flaunting woman of bold spirit.

Hearing the name Jezebel many people began to wonder who is this girl? What is she about? And why is she using that name? However The Bronx, NY native knew exactly what she was doing when using such a controversial character to represent her. She states, "People have their own views on Jezebel, but I viewed her as a woman who wasn't afraid to get what she wants and was the first woman in her time to take over in a male dominated world. And that's what I want to do with this rap game that is dominated mainly by men. I knew the name wasy risky, but I love that ! I love going outside the box and doing what nobody would expect." And what nobody would expect is exactly what she is.

The young 19 year old 90's baby; who also calls herself ‘Bonita Applebum' after the hit song from a Tribe Called Quest is a rapper, singer, songwriter, model, and dancer. Growing up she was heavily influenced by music in her household. She aspired to be a singer while writing songs from as young as she could remember. Around the age of 12 she came to realize her biggest talent wasn't singing but rather rapping. She states, "I wasn't a real tomboy growing up but I would always fit in with the crowd of guys in school and they would always be rapping. I used to play around with it until people started telling me that I was really nice." It was after that Jezebel began taking rapping more seriously.

It wasn't long before Jezebel met with the CEO of Antartika Records who pushed her to work even harder. She states, "Being a female rapper you sometimes have to work two, three, even four times as hard as a male rapper to be recognized. And even then people always want to compare you with the next female rapper out. But, I think people will hear the difference in my music. I don't want to just rap to be rapping- I want my music to tell a story." Now that she's on the right track the only way to go now is to the top!
